For as long as I have been able to hold a crayon, I have been drawing. Making up characters and stories has always been second nature to me; I don't particularly know how to go about life without turning everything I feel and experience and love into stories and drawings.

Alongside drawing, my other biggest interest has always been animals and zoology. My notebooks and sketchbooks both were and still are filled with animals and all kinds of odd made up creatures, but never particularly many humans. This is not due to any dislike of humans; I really love people, but I love playing with the expressiveness of animal features and also quite simply find drawing animals much more fun, which is important to me as I believe having fun is one of the most important parts of creating.

I have always genuinely loved children's art and drawings made by adults who say they "can't draw." There is something that I find so special and truthful about crude doodles and wonky lines, and it's something that I'm always trying to preserve in my own finished comics and other pieces by striking the right balance between a piece looking intentional and complete and still retaining the carefree joy of playing with pencils and crayons.

I love my family, my partner, sunny side up eggs, snow leopards, folk and blues, Jeremy Strong, carousels, the Muppets, nonfiction books, and playing the hit game Animal Jam. I live with my lovely partner and spend my time working a variety of different odd jobs, volunteering at a charity bookshop which has become my favorite place ever, reading, and mostly drawing. I also have a bachelor's degree in illustration, showing that I am a 100% certified expert in funny pictures. One last fun fact which is important to me- I always draw myself as a sheepdog or a coyote because they are animals which I feel very connected to.

I love lots of things and I pour all of that love into my drawings. I hope maybe some of it will mean something to you too!
